(4) Listen to a dialog.  
(two voices, both males)

(voice 1) Were you ever in a bad storm before?

(5) Now look at Figure 1. Each of those sentences is part of a dialog. Listen to a sentence; then say yours. Ready? (pause 5 sec after each item)

(6) Now look at Figure 2. You read the first line; then listen to the next one. Say your second line after that. Okay, you begin. (pause long enough for students to say their lines)
