Your instructor will give you a part to play in one of these situations. You may be a driver, a rider, a policeman, or a witness to the accident. Use the vocabulary from the lesson.

1. Mr. Green is driving east. Mr. Smith is driving west, facing the sun. He drives onto the wrong side of the road and hits Mr. Green. The policeman, Officer Brinson, is trying to find out how the accident happened.
2. Ms. Nelson is driving through an intersection.* She has a green light. Mr. Caldwell runs the red light and hits her. Mr. Hill was on the corner and saw the accident. Officer Ames is trying to find out what happened.
3. Mike was driving in heavy traffic. He stopped suddenly and the three cars behind him ran into each other causing a four car accident. Officer Marcus is trying to find out who was at fault. Sandra was looking out of her office and saw the accident.
