(2) Go to Figure 1. Listen to a word and add -ly to it. Look at the examples.

(11) Go to Figure 9. Listen to a paragraph and write the topic on the first line. You'll hear the paragraph two times.
More people are interested in good health these days. They are exercising more. Many people jog, swim, or walk every day. Exercise classes are usually crowded. People are not smoking as much. People are also eating better. They are eating food that is good for them. They are eating more vegetables and less meat. They want to be healthy, not sick. They want to feel good.
(12) Listen to the paragraph again.
More people are interested in good health these days. They are exercising more. Many people jog, swim, or walk every day. Exercise classes are usually crowded. People are not smoking as much. People are also eating better. They are eating food that is good for them. They are eating more vegetables and less meat. They want to be healthy, not sick. They want to feel good.
(13) Write your answer now. (pause 20 sec) The answer is "healthy people."
