voice 2: Yes, I did. I used to ride a bus to school every day. Then, when I was sixteen, my father bought me a car.

voice 2: I would usually drive, but sometimes I didn't have enough money for gas.  
voice 1: Did your father ever lend you money?  
voice 2: He'd lend me money occasionally but not very often.
