(1) Hello. Open your Language Laboratory Activities booklet to Lesson 2B. (pause 6 sec)
(2) Look at Figure 1. Look at the pictures. Repeat the words and the sentences.
(pause for repetition)

(3) Now look at Figure 2. Look at the pictures and listen to sentences. Put the number of the sentence under each picture.

Number 1: This desk is heavy. It's not light. (pause 5 sec)
(4) Number 1 is picture D. Write number 1 on the line under picture D. Okay, now listen to the sentence and write the number of the sentence under the correct picture. (pause 5 sec after each item)
Number 2: I can't draw a curved line.
Number 3: I read two books today. Each book was very good.
Number 4: I worked all the problems in class. They were easy.
Number 5: I can move that chair. It's light.
Number 6: I can't work this problem. It's hard.
Number 7: Can you draw a straight line?

(7) Now look at Figure 4. Listen and choose the correct picture; then circle a, b, c, or d.

Number 3: 9 plus 8
Number 4: 10 divided by 5

(13) Now look at Figure 6 again. Listen and check your answers.

Number 6 is a, 15 divided by 3.
